  • From 01/05/2005 to the present, I served as a teacher's assistant at the center, working with children between the ages of 1 year and 3 years. I am teaching children from the age of 2, where most arrive at the center with an evaluation of Early Steps, where they can qualify for program B2. This program has allowed me to work with children who have or do not have a diagnosis of autism, children with Down syndrome, and children who have delays in two or more areas of learning. I have been able to acquire, throughout this time working at the ARC of South Florida, appropriate skills, teaching, and practices to have a better interaction with the child and their family.
