Summary

I am currently a third-semester nursing student at SUNY Orange Community College, where I have demonstrated strong academic performance and commitment to excellence. I was invited to join Phi Theta Kappa Honor Society and have earned placement on the Dean’s List for both the Spring and Fall 2025 semesters, maintaining a GPA above 3.33.

Through two semesters of clinical experience on a medical-surgical unit, I have developed foundational skills in critical thinking, therapeutic communication, patient assessment, medication administration, time management, collaboration and patient safety. I am currently completing my obstetrics rotation, where I am gaining hands-on experience in labor and delivery, postpartum care, and the NICU. These rotations have strengthened my ability to think critically, prioritize patient needs, and provide compassionate, evidence-based care across diverse patient populations.

I am a highly motivated and detail-oriented student. I am eager to continue expanding my knowledge while applying my clinical judgment, patient-care skills, and strong work ethic to contribute positively to the healthcare team. I am grateful for the opportunity to be considered and look forward to further developing as a professional nurse.
