• Surgery Assisted in over 30 operations per week utilizing laparascopic and Da Vinci techniques including: colonoscopy, endoscopy, carotid endarterectomy, vein ligation and ablation, hernia repair, cholecystectomy, breast biopsy, roux-en-y gastric bypass, colectomy, amputations, etc. Skills to include: suturing and stapling and removal, wound check, debridement and packing, incision and drainage, intra-articular injections, pre and post discharge plans. Psychiatry Assisted in assessment and plan, medication adjustment, administration and overall patient care. Pediatrics Performed with supervision: nasopharyngeal/laryngeal swab, ordering labs and imaging, complete sports and school physical exams, immunizations and growth assessment. Cardiology Assisted in nuclear stress testing, post-op assessment and discharge, admissions and cardiac catheterizations. Family Medicine Performed with supervision: 30+ patients per day, intra-articular injections, casting and splinting, EKG interpretation, imaging and lab result requisitions, shave and punch biopsy, cryotherapy, toenail removal, pelvic, pap and breast exams, prostate exams, weight managment, admissions, incision and drainage, suture placement and removal, abscess and foreign body removal, immunization and medication administration, peak flow measurements, prenatal care, family planning and urgent care Emergency Medicine Assisted in: CPR, central line placement, femoral line placement, thoracotomy, pic line placement, lumbar puncture, nebulizer treatment, abdominal catheter placement and removal, incision and drainage, nasal packing, anesthetic nerve blocking, pelvic exam and culture, admissions, cryotherapy, medication administration and management, EKG interpretation, CT and MRI interpretation, joint reduction, casting and splinting. Obstetrics and Gynecology Performed with supervision: pelvic and abdominal Ultrasound, fetal doppler heart tones, fundal height measurements, trimester education and care, pelvic and pap smears, cervical biopsy and colposcopy, cervical and vaginal sample collection for evaluation under microscopy, pessary placement and removal, incontinence care and foreign body removal.
