I am a creative, dependable, and hardworking person with strong experience in leadership, communication, and serving others. Through my volunteer work, I’ve played guitar, sung, and helped lead worship, which taught me how to stay calm under pressure, work as part of a team, and create a positive environment for people. I’ve also helped set up for youth services and events, which strengthened my ability to multitask, stay organized, and handle fast‑moving situations with a good attitude.
I’ve also developed strong customer‑service skills through photography and communications leadership. I’ve worked with large groups of people, communicated clearly, and managed schedules across multiple campuses. I’m used to being reliable, showing up prepared, and supporting a team so everything runs smoothly. These experiences have made me confident in talking to people, solving problems quickly, and keeping things organized — all skills that translate directly into a barista job. I enjoy working in busy environments, helping people feel welcome, and staying focused even when things get hectic.
Serving in youth worship as a guitarist and singer allowed me to help create an atmosphere where students could connect with God and feel comfortable engaging in worship. I learned how to prepare songs, practice with the band, and blend my sound with others so the whole team felt unified. Leading worship taught me how to stay focused, listen closely, and support the room with confidence and humility.
Being part of the youth worship team also helped me grow as a leader. I learned how to communicate with other musicians, follow the worship pastor’s direction, and stay flexible when things changed last minute. Whether I was leading a song or backing up the team, I worked to make sure the worship experience felt smooth, meaningful, and welcoming for everyone who walked in.
As a photographer, I captured important moments during church services, youth events, and conferences, making sure each photo told the story of what was happening in the room. I paid attention to lighting, timing, and angles so the images looked natural and meaningful. I worked closely with the communications team to cover events, follow shot lists, and deliver photos that could be used for social media, announcements, and campus updates. This role helped me grow in creativity, responsibility, and confidence while serving the church.
As a photo editor, I looked through large sets of photos from church services and events and chose the best ones to use. I edited each picture to fix lighting, color, and clarity so the images looked clean and professional. I worked with photographers to make sure our photos matched the church’s style and were ready to post or share. This role helped me build strong attention to detail and taught me how to manage deadlines while keeping the quality high.
Serving as a church volunteer allowed me to grow into a wide range of creative and leadership roles. I regularly played guitar, sang, and helped lead worship, using music to create an atmosphere where students and adults could engage deeply in services. Whether I was leading a full worship set or supporting the team, I learned how to prepare spiritually and musically, collaborate with other musicians, and help guide the room with confidence and humility.
Beyond worship, I was heavily involved in youth ministry support. I helped set up for weekly youth services, making sure the environment was welcoming, organized, and ready for students. I also served as a photographer, capturing moments across services, events, and conferences. My role extended into photo editing, where I ensured images were high‑quality, consistent, and ready for church communication channels.
One of my biggest responsibilities was serving as the leader of the communications team, overseeing photographers and videographers across all church campuses. I handled scheduling for every location, coordinated volunteers, and kept teams informed about expectations, events, and weekly needs. This role strengthened my communication skills, taught me how to lead with clarity and encouragement, and helped me manage multiple moving parts while supporting a large, multi‑campus ministry.
