Elise White

I work with students of different ages and skill levels in an online setting. I primarily tutor in English and history. I attempt to connect with students and ensure their ability to grow in their field of study.

I am responsible for everyone working on the front staff during my shifts. I open and close the restaurant. I also take orders, run food, and clean the restaurant. I also ensure customer satisfaction and spend extensive time in customer-facing roles. I ensure both customers and coworkers walk out of the restaurant happy.

I worked as an interpretive host, helping scan tickets, distribute audio guides, and answer questions. I ensured the guests with ADA needs were properly guided to the elevator or the video room. I also gave tours on historical and architectural information to a variety of visitors. I attempted to fulfill the Biltmore mission of gracious hospitality to all guests.

I began work at Italian Garden as a cashier and host, then worked my way up to server and eventually to server lead. I answered phones, took to-go orders, sat customers, took customer orders, expoed food, and was responsible for the shifts I worked. I was also temporary manager for two weeks, which included making schedules and running the front staff.

I worked as a delivery driver for Chick-fil-A on Dorchester Road in Charleston, South Carolina, while attending school there. I picked up orders from the store and navigated the roads of North Charleston using GPS to deliver the orders. This included some customer-facing interaction.

I provided childcare for parents while they worked out at the gym. This included taking care of children of all ages, interacting and playing with them. I also changed diapers and fed young babies.

I operated machines and worked an assembly line at a machine shop. I also cleaned the work space and operated a fork lift once.

I worked as a cashier and shelf stocker at Shoe Show. I got experience working retail and interacting in customer service positions.
