I am a results-driven person with experience as an Assistant Manager at Dollar General, excelling in cash handling and customer service. Have proven my ability to lead teams, manage schedules, and ensure compliance with health codes. I would like to think I am recognized for strong problem-solving skills and a commitment to maintaining a clean and safe environment.
My job consisted of being a cashier, cook, opener, and closer. I handled money, did dishes as well as general cleaning to inspection satisfaction. I was training to become an assistant manager, making schedules, supervising shifts and dealing with inventory. Unfortunately I had to quit to take care of my mom and that process was interrupted.
My job as an assistant manager included ensuring a clean and safe work environment as well as doing cash drops, handling money, entering the money and inventory into the computer systems. I made sure there was an efficient schedule put out each week, unloaded truck and made sure my employees knew what their tasks were.
As an attendant, I dealt with food, money, serving drinks, prepping in the kitchen, cleaning and ensuring great customer service. Since serving at a casino was not a normal serving job, I was also serving VIP events and large formal dinners and am familiar with proper etiquette if needed.
