I am currently pursuing a degree in Interior Architecture and Design and a minor in Spanish at Utah State University. I love all things design and fashion. I enjoy working with people and helping others. My years as a sewing teacher and lifeguard have taught me management skills, confidence, good communication, awareness of others, dependability, and confidence.
I ran a sewing camp at my house for several years after working at a sewing school in Salt Lake City. Taught kids ages 6-15 to create their own projects and clothes, managed material distribution and funds, and facilitated a welcoming environment through effective communication and clear instructions. supportive leadership.
I worked here while during my second semesterter at Utah State. I monitored the pool area and swimmers to ensure the people are safe and that there are no hazards in the pool area as well as clean. I was CPR trained and responded to injuries as needed.
I worked as a Lifeguard for a couple summers which entailed, being CPR certified, consistently monitoring the pool area to make sure it stays clean and safe, providing help and answering to patrons needs and questions in a kind and confident manner.
I began as a sewing teacher here at the Finishing School, I learned how to manage a safe and fun environment while helping the needs of the students. I learned to well teach other students in a way that helps them develop their skills, confidence and enjoyment for sewing. I learned how to follow instructions for shifts, how to communicate well with other employees and develop stronger self confidence at a young age early on.
Took honors and AP classes.
