Flexible hard worker whose ready to learn and contribute to team success.
Though I've handled working with children before, either with siblings or babysitting, I've learned to use more effective and beneficial ways to bring up children. Some included prioritizing a clean and safe environment. Taking leadership ensured that the children developed the skills to listen and follow directions. Implementing a structured schedule that encompassed lesson plans and playtime enhanced organization and time management. Relationships were created between the children and me, as well as their parents. There was constant supervision, and every injury was handled quickly and effectively. Every child was accounted for with the use of attendance and the mental note of knowing how many kids you have at all times. After each child left, the classrooms would go through a deep clean to guarantee a fresh start the next day.
Time management and efficiency were necessary skills for the job. While only allowed 2 hours to clean a hallway of classes, I managed to get the job done. I value hard work and will often stay longer if it meant that I could complete the task knowing I did my best. While being a custodian isn't always seen as the best job out there, I looked forward knowing that I helped create a safe environment for future leaders.
