In addition to my service experience, I am a recent graduate from a top drama school and have a European background, growing up in both the UK and the States. I have developed strong cross-cultural communication skills from working in a predominantly French-speaking restaurant environment. As I have a deep interest in understanding and learning about people from all walks of life, I hope to now bring that into gaining experience in bartending. - La Tout Va Bien has a very ‘we’re all a part of the same team’ approach, so I have learned the ins and outs of hostessing, as well as bussing and serving. I handle a very fast-paced environment, and am expected to be the “conductor” of the restaurant, keeping the front of house running and clean at all times. I provide a warm and welcoming environment for the customers as I seat them. I also help out with cleaning behind the bar, have experience in polishing glasses, running the dishwasher, bussing tables, refilling the service station, and taking certain drink or meal requests from customers when the servers are busy. I have learned that the job of a good hostess is to make everyone else’s lives easier, while being the first friendly face and good impression for an incoming customer
