In July I will have been with this company 3 years. I came in looking to learn something new and exciting. I since retired from working in an educational setting as an ASL Interpreter for the deaf. I started in Basil Packout, just packing basil. I got bored fast. Within a month I was the lead. I learn what I needed to move over to Lettuce Packout when it first opened. I was a sponge and learning all I could and trained anyone that could tolerated 39 degrees for 10 hours. As we grew packing more everyday, the WIP room was not organized in an efficient way. I figured out a way to get it organized and labeled the lanes where all the different leafies would go and this provided a more effective flow. Soon after that I went to the Farm and became the Seeding Lead and a month later I put in for the Farm Supervisor position.
