I am dedicated to serving individuals who are facing co-occurring disorders. I understand that every client is unique, and therefore, I provide personalized and client-centered care that is tailored to meet their specific needs. My goal is to not only provide treatment, but also to advocate for improved quality of life for my clients. I believe that with the right care and support, individuals with co-occurring disorders can thrive and lead fulfilling lives.
I can confidently state that I possess the following skills and competencies:
Assessment: I am proficient in identifying substance abuse and mental health issues.
Mental Health Disorders: I have an extensive understanding of mood, anxiety, personality, and psychotic disorders.
Medication Management: I am familiar with psychotropic medications and their effects.
Crisis Intervention: I am adept at managing crises related to substance abuse or mental health issues.
Case Management: I can coordinate care with healthcare providers, social services, and community resources.
Cultural Competency: I am highly aware of cultural, ethnic, and individual differences.

I completed my master's degree in co-occurring disorders at Metro State University in May 2024, maintaining a 3.75 GPA. I was recognized and nominated for the National Honor Society and the Outstanding Student Award each semester.
During my clinical experience, I primarily worked with two populations: individuals involved with the criminal justice system and underserved marginalized individuals. The best leaders constantly learn and remain open to new ideas. It is more valuable to seek understanding than to always try to be understood.
