The payment Analyst position plays a critical role in ensuring the accuracy and efficiency of our payment processing operations. We are responsible for analyzing payment data, identifying discrepancies, and resolving issues to ensure timely and accurate payments to our clients.

While working at Utah Smile Clinic, I was tasked with spearheading our efforts to expand our patient base by introducing pediatric services to our office. To achieve this, I created a personalized list of procedures using HCPCS 2021 codes and corresponding prices that were both competitive and aligned with the needs of our new patient base and the needs of the clinic as well. In addition, I was responsible for managing payments, insurance claims, and ensuring that all necessary requirements were met in order to provide optimal coverage for our patients. Part of my role also involved addressing any concerns or questions from parents and ensuring a seamless flow of communication between patients and our staff.
In this position you are expected to have all the documentation of your assigned patients in order and complete also to be alert to all possible new labs, physicians orders and new medications from doctors or nurses. This position works as a canal between family members, nurses, charge nurses, laboratories, pharmacy and physicians. We are the first responders to a patient's family concerns, important information from the lab, other hospitals calls or even ambulances or transportation when we’re having a new/existing pt arriving from another facility.
