In my just over 6 years of being a K9 Handler I have trained everywhere from Personal Protection dogs for high value and celebrity clients to COVID-19 detection dogs. I also have extensive experience running dual purpose Explosive Detection and Security Patrol K9’s as a private contractor. Currently in my last role before relocating to the Ft. Belvoir/Washington D.C. area I went for an Instructor certification a world renowned kennel who has provided highly skilled detection and patrol dogs for law enforcement agencies all over the world and has supplied elite K9’s to our U.S. Military, Secret Services, etc. In my Explosive and Narcotic Detection Canine/Patrol Instructor role, I honed my leadership abilities instructing a group of law enforcement K-9 Handlers from departments all over the country. I’ve guided them on how to functionally and safely work their new K-9 partners, preparing them and their K-9 partner to return back to their units after a rigorous six week course, fully ready to promote public safety not only for the Handler/K9 team, but the general public. I feel as though with my previous experience I can provide a firm foundation for an executive protection position at your company.
