• Iowa Chapbook Prize: Publishing Practicum, 01/2023 - 05/2023, Read over 200+ submissions to an annual short story contest, created social media posts and advertisements, was sole editor of a manuscript, managed author contracts, worked with the author on edits and exterior/interior design
• Advanced Publishing II, 01/2022 - 05/2022, Learned core elements of commercial publishing, such as creating and interacting with query letters, beat sheets, and pitches—extensive analysis of different tropes and styles according to genre and marketing age.
• Publishing I, 08/2021 - 12/2021, Created and published a literary magazine, Designed all of the magazine's illustrations, layout, social media posts, and all other marketing elements.

• Broken Clock Literary Magazine, Creative Director, 09/2021 - 05/2023, Responsible for all social media content, physical magazine creation, and magazine aesthetic, Created marketing campaigns and organized members to promote around campus, Aids in selecting and copy-editing over 100 submissions per issue
• Horizon Literary Magazine, Assistant Editor in Chief, 09/2021 - 05/2023, Responsible for organizing a full issue schedule and responsibilities among members, Reviews all media content and copyediting of submissions

A university class, where we studied the ratios and typography styles that are used in print publishing. Formatted and designed a full-length novel in InDesign and studied typefaces and how/when to use different fonts within them.
