Placed orders for product in assigned vendors to ensure product was continuously being received to satisfy customers orders. Review reports on stock levels, pricing, late purchase orders, and adjustments on a daily basis. Working closely with accounting and vendors to review and address all discrepancies on invoices and shortages to stores. Set up new and special order items every season for food shows and major holidays. Heavy use of the AS400 and Microsoft Office.
Oversee inventory clerks in Managed Receiving, Dry Grocery, HBC, and the North Warehouse. Investigate discrepancies in large variances on cycle counts from each warehouse. Manage daily reports for outs, exceptions, and rotation dates. Assist dry receiving on placement of incoming inventory while also preparing shipping for mass food show releases along with special order or seasonal product. Expedite resolutions on shipping errors and receiving mistakes. Respond to vendor recalls within the time frame allotted. Prepare all warehouses for annual GMP inspections by preventing and maintaining cross contamination for major food allergens and hazardous materials. Train new clerks in the AS400 and Managed Receiving to assign, cycle count, adjust, and assist in shipping of all dry grocery and HBC items. Manage schedules, vacation, PTO, and Holidays of all inventory clerks using Kronos.
Receiving all inbound trucks for the North warehouse using the AS400. Entering trailer numbers for transfer PO's on the Managed Receiving Website. Creating BOL's for Red Gold Inventory being shipped from the Forward warehouse to the main Affiliated warehouse. Updating and Adjusting inventory when needed. Releasing railcars using the BNSF and UP websites once inventory has been received. Quality Control checks for buyers and vendors when requested.
Answered all incoming phone calls and directed them accordingly. Processed payments and updated balances for all clientele. Responsible for fixing default pallets to proper areas for receiving. Making sure product is in appropriate area for shipping i.e. heavy moving items need to be in lower level slots to avoid damages and back injuries for order selectors. Certified to drive jack and standing fork lift.
Cashing out customers. Receiving and counting any product that was delivered during shift. Labeling any merchandise that was left over after being stocked into its proper location, so that it can be accounted for during monthly inventory.
Receiving all inventory in the supply center. Unloading trailers and breaking down product being received. Updating inventory sheets every time inventory was being received or moved using excel spreadsheets. Order selecting.
Piecing together final product. Packaging and checking orders to make sure correct product and exact quantity being ordered is shipped or delivered.
