Assisting the USDA-ARS WSU Wheat Breeding Program.

Tasks include:

• In the Greenhouse: potting, transplanting, planting, threshing, plant care, freeze-testing, Near-infrared reflectance (NIR) spectroscopy, cross-breeding via emasculation and pollination, DNA extraction, seed organization, stripe rust rating and collection, harvesting, etc.
• In the Lab: DNA extraction and dilution, multichannel and single micro-pipetting, PCR, autoclaving, and refilling lab stock.
• In the Seedhouse: seed organization, seed cleaning, NIR spectroscopy, seed storage and subsampling, micro-milling, threshing, etc.
• In the Field: field care, roguing, maturity rating, stripe rust rating, harvest.

• Assisting customers with processing transactions, such as deposits, withdrawals, or payments, resolving complaints or account discrepancies, and answering questions
• Tracking, recording, reporting, and storing information related to transactions, bank supplies, and customers, ensuring all information is accurate and complete
• Maintaining and balancing cash drawers and reconciling discrepancies
• Handling currency, transactions, and confidential information in a responsible manner
• Using software to track bank information and generate reports.

• Delivering an exceptional guest experience, connecting with guests to deliver quality handcrafted beverages and food during all hours of operations, prioritizing the guest's needs over task
• Upholding and maintaining the execution of the Food and Beverage Standards, all Starbucks' brand standards and food safety standards
• Following proper packaging and labeling guidelines for food products
• Ensuring accurate in-stocks by placing store-initiated orders according to best practices
• Following proper perishable inventory procedures to ensure an accurate recording of inventory.

• Bagging and carrying out customers' merchandise
• Assisting customers in locating the products in a store setting
• Patrolling and managing parking lots and shopping carts
• Washing, cleaning and sanitizing store and work areas.
