Directing the constituent relationships team for USA Triathlon, I manage a team that is on the forefront of constituent engagement and service. USA Triathlon is the National Governing Body for the sport of triathlon and a member of the Olympic and Paralympic movement. In my capacity as Director, I oversee all aspects of constituent service, including event sanctioning, coaching and club certification, and membership services. I develop and manage the department budget, and supervise a team of eight. In this role, I am responsible for building consensus across all constituent groups, forming connections and relationships that promote and amplify the sport.

Spearheaded a new department focused on creating programs to support a riding and racing pathway for young riders. Secured a $15,000 grant from the United States Olympic and Paralympic Committee to fund the development of the American Development Model (ADM) for cycling. Crafted educational resources for parents, coaches and athletes focused on introducing young, high school and collegiate athletes to the sport.

Directed the membership services activities for USA Cycling, the National Governing Body for the sport of cycling in the US. Managed a team of four, oversaw a department budget of $5.2 million and grew annual membership revenue by 5.2% after years of decline.

Founded the Athlete Development Department for the largest endurance sports company in the world. Created athlete-centered development programs that have become the industry gold standard for athlete engagement and loyalty. Managed a department budget of $400,000 and a global staff of 10 in 6 business unit regions, including Europe, Africa, Asia, North, and South America.

Lead a sales team from business start up to national distribution across all channels: natural food, chain retailer and major box stores (Sam's Club, Costco, Walmart). Met assigned targets for profitable sales volume, market share and key financial performance objectives. Analyzed competitive environment and customer procurement trends to support growth strategies. Represented company at various community and business events to promote awareness, network with potential clients and penetrate new markets.

Oversaw the Planned Giving department for the largest no kill, care for life animal rescue organization in the US.

Founded a start up coffee roasting business in Santa Fe, NM. Built the business to gross annual sales of $5 million prior to sale to a local competitor.

I was part of a land development team that partnered with Mountain Village in Telluride, Colorado to build affordable employee housing, in order to address the affordable housing issues confronting the area. Conducted community meetings to build consensus, presented project plans to key stakeholders, including the Town Planning Commission, and Town Council.

Oversaw the planning and subsequent agency approvals for residential, industrial, and commercial land development projects in the cities of Palmdale, Lancaster, and Los Angeles County. Was part of a team that crafted a groundbreaking public-private partnership that redefined redevelopment in the State of California. The project involved a complex 25-year sales tax revenue-sharing agreement between the City of Palmdale and Trakell Development Corporation. Project planner on an eco-tourism resort project located in Bahia Heradura, Costa Rica.

Director of Planning for an environmental consulting firm with both public and private sector clients. Crafted community planning documents, including general plan, zoning and land use studies, environmental impact reports, and recreation multi-use concept project plans.

Associate Planner for the El Dorado County Community Development Department. In my role, I was a contributing staff member to the development of the River Management Plan for the South Fork of the American River. I also sat as El Dorado County's representative on the Advisory Planning Commission for the Tahoe Regional Planning Agency. Other responsibilities included presenting reports to the El Dorado County Board of Supervisors, Planning Commission, area homeowners, and business development groups.
