Summary

I aim to support hospitalized children and their families to reduce negative impacts of stressful or traumatic life situations. Embracing the value of play, I am able to enhance developmental growth and build therapeutic relationships. Through my assessments, interventions, education, and advocacy, I am able to meet the child where they are, to best aid in their hospitalization. Using my knowledge of Family System Theory, I am able to value and support the family unit as a whole.
