  • Over the course of two semesters we work directly with a customer to create a value based medical device
  • Worked in a team to identify, evaluate, and validate unmet needs identified by the customer
  • Participated in design brainstorm sessions with the team
  • Met with experts in the field to observe their workflow, and to discover unmet needs in the lab
  • Held monthly meetings with the customer to discuss unmet needs and current progress
  • Held weekly design review meetings with Director of Touchdown Medical Technologies
  • Conducted research into the disease state fundamentals, the existing solutions, market analysis and stakeholder analysis
  • Attended training and workshops, to advance my knowledge of the topic
  • Created design drawings of the system, and components of the medial technology.
