I currently work as a Direct Care Precessional at CCARC New Britain CT. also a Residential Monitor counselor at Mercy Housing. where in the last 6 years I have been responsible for assisting up to 20 to 25 individuals with activities, this incudes ADL , personal care and dietary aide, meal support, mobility assistance and medication reminder and administering medication, and developed care plans, focusing on independence and their quality of life. this includes social engagement by introducing them to a variety of activities . I have held personal care giver positions with independent clients, this is where i first developed my skills in behavior management and active listening , working with individuals who has experienced depression and anxiety it has taught me how important and patience and trust. I completed all training this includes CPR, FIRST AIDE, OSHA, HIPPA, PMT, certifications during that time. I am interested in in this role to assist in giving our disabled and assisting in giving a full life for our individuals. I am ready and willing to bring my knowledge to your team.
