Resourceful English and TESO Teacher with Masters degree and commitment to delivering exceptional learning experiences. Challenged students with rigorous coursework and engaged them with exposure to cultural vignettes. Superb communications skills and dedication to students leading to positive results. I strive to know everything that will make my students learning experience meaningful, useful, and rewarding. In some cases, that means knowing the joys and sorrows of their lives and giving them a safe place to share them and make connections that makes learning a lasting experience to grow from. I know the topics and skills I want students to pick up during lesson. I take time to look at the needs of my students so that I can differentiate the lesson to accommodate IEP and ESL needs. I create lessons that will appeal to a variety of leaning and communication styles. I think above all my lessons needs to be creative, interesting, differentiated, and above all relevant. students need to feel connected to what they learn so that skills are worth retaining and building upon on. I use dialectical notes. It is a method that asks students to document what they read and respond to it. It helps build relevance and revel truth and understanding between the reader and text. I use level questing based on blooms. It helps students develop higher levels of thinking.
