When I am not in the classroom, I work on my family's beef cattle ranch, assisting with calving, maintaining herd health with vaccines, gathering and sorting cattle, baling hay in the summer, and monitoring overall herd output. I also enjoy riding horses and have won several all-around titles in the American Stock Horse Association and other ranch horse show series. Some of my other favorite things include drawing and painting, reading, and traveling.
