I began as a waitress/bartender and over the next 23 years worked as a cook, banquet manager, front of house manager, payroll, scheduling etc. My last job duty there, was general manager for several months as they prepared to sell the business and retire. I feel confident in the kitchen as a cook, prep, assist, dishwasher, front of house if needed as well.
As a lead cook, I prepared dishes according to recipes and was in charge of daily specials, inventory and ordering. I oversaw the kitchen employees and did scheduling. maintained areas according to health regulations and provided a safe work environment.
