The Honor Foundation (THF) is a career transition program for U.S. Special Operations Forces that effectively translates their elite military service to the private sector and helps create the next generation of corporate and community leaders. Provides support to the program by:

  • conducting mock interviews with cohort members helping to build confidence in storytelling skills and the ability to present unique experience in the interview process;
  • virtually reviewing resumes and LinkedIn profiles to ensure cohort members digital footprint and artifacts capture their experience in plain language and with accuracy;
  • fundraising to support THF mission.

Virginia Beach CASA

2018 - 2023

Court Appointed Special Advocates (CASA) advocate for the best interests of children introduced into the Virginia Beach Juvenile Court in cases suspected of neglect or abuse. Volunteer work included interviewing all relevant stakeholders including parents, temporary guardians, and service providers to collect facts regarding child's safety; conducting visits to the child(ren) in current living situation to review physical safety; facilitates one on one conversation with children to understand their story. All investigation and data collection is summarized as a court report, delivered directory to the Judge assigned to the case to support best out come to provide child with a safe and permanent home. I was by name requested to support advocate Q&A panels during new advocate training on multiple occassions.
