Volunteer position working for Dallas CASA. CASA stands for court appointed special advocate.

Mediate and advocate for children in the foster care system.

Work with foster family to ensure the children are in a safe and caring environment.

Advocate for children academically, medically , socially and emotionally when necessary.

Make monthly visits with my CASA child and work with guardian to ensure the child's needs are being met.

  • Volunteer positions where I served in a part-time capacity.
  • Served on the executive board for 4 years. Two years were as assistant vice-president for both communications and community. The other two I served as the vice-president.
  • Led silent auction raising over $90,000 for the school.
  • Served as both a grade level and classroom captain for the school's annual fund.
  • New Family coordinator where I led school tours, organized new family events, and coordinated buddy and host families.
