01.2022 - Current
In 2022, reached 3,697 youth from 183 classrooms at 59 public, private, and Montessori schools through the 4-H School Enrichment program of embryology. During this program, I help with egg and supply delivery, presented introduction to embryology and egg candling, and gathered chicks from schools upon hatching.
In 2022, reached over 850 youth in STEM programming. Reached over 2,000 youth in 2023, by teaching STEM at multiple schools and community learning centers.
By the end of the 2023-2024 school year, I'll have reached 17 LPS Title 1 schools and 4 Catholic schools with STEM after schools clubs.
Reached 140 homeschooled youth through Homeschool Youth Science Days offered each November where youth get to participate in three hands-on lessons that focus on STEM concepts.
Have hosted dog workshops, where youth got to learn about and practice dog showmanship, obedience, and agility; cat workshops, where youth got to learn how to properly bathe a cat, grooming techniques, cage accessories, and what is needed at a show; and household pets workshops, where youth learned about the "right pet for you", habitats and care of different small pets, and judging criteria of household pets. Near 50 youth have been reached through these workshops.
