In partnership with Placer County Department of Human Assistant successfully developed and launched HSP, Housing Support Program and BFH , Bringing Family Homes Housing Program for Homeless Families and families mandated participation in Child Protective Services. Serves included detailed psych-social assessment, Housing readiness training, Housing placement, managing financial rental assistance and Housing Retention services.

Fully operated and Directed first 150 bed homeless shelter in Auburn and successfully initiated first shelter in a tri county area that welcomed animals as therapeutic companions for clientele without incident. Successfully Initiated full partnership with local law enforcement to support reintegration into housing.

• Under general supervision, established this position to assist applicants in meeting housing eligibility requirements and establish resources related to housing opportunities and solutions to successfully house over 200 clients facing homeless challenges.

• Is responsible for assuring quality service to all program participants through development of programs and resources, assessment/placement of clients, and management of daily workflow as it relates to overall organizational operations
• In addition, assures that all work is performed in a cost effective and service-oriented manner in accordance with negotiated contracts, appropriate procedures and established organizational standards
• Program Manager coordinates program requirements with other operational areas and has overall responsibility for supervision, development and motivation of staff.

As Homeless Director I successfully launched, developed and managed multiple programs that continued to meet and exceed all measurable outcomes.

• In Collaboration with Department of Human Assistance converted the Aid in Kind Shelter program to a comprehensive Family Center
• Developed and implemented the family program to meet the complex needs of families and children
• The program utilizes a progressive approach to ending homelessness by providing outreach intake services at Loaves and Fishes, Day drop in center for homeless, administering a triage assessment, utilizing the vulnerability index, and providing advocacy and support for those families on our wait list
• Adhering to Housing First best practices model provided intensive housing placement services, intensive case management services and 24-7 support services and crisis response.

• In Collaboration with Sacramento Area Emergency Housing Center and Sacramento Housing and Redevelopment Agency, wrote grant, developed and implemented Sacramento's first Permanent Housing Program serving both singles and families, utilizing a comprehensive approach providing wrap around services including a licensed therapist, children services specialist, intensive case management and housing specialist.

• In Collaboration with Department of Human Assistance, Breaking Barriers, Aids Housing Alliance, and CARES, wrote a HOPWA, Special Project of National Significance grant, developed and implemented our countries first comprehensive crisis residential program for homeless men, women and trans-gender adults
• The program maintains its safe- house status designed to meet the unique needs of individuals who are HIV positive or living with AIDS.

• In Collaboration with the Department of Human Services and Sacramento Housing and Redevelopment Agency, developed and implemented a Permanent Housing Program, serving homeless, persistently and chronically mentally ill adults.

• In Collaboration with Department of Health and Human Services, developed and Implemented Sacramento's first Transitional Housing Program for homeless single adults, including parolees.

Developed Mather Community Advisory Committee who's membership fulfilled the objective to include every sector of the Rancho Cordova community to integrate the voices and diverse skills sets to advise Mather Community Campus Leadership team in meeting and exceeding HUD's measurable objectives. Ultimately, receiving HUD's national Best Transitional Housing Award.

• In Collaboration with Sacramento Housing and Redevelopment Agency, Salvation Army, Sacramento Area Emergency Housing, SETA, Legal Services of Northern California, and the Sacramento Regional Foundation, developed and implemented Sacramento's first HPRP program
• This program provided the needed outcomes thus meeting the federal HUD mandate to successfully usher in the HEARTH Act.

• In Collaboration with Department of Health and Human Services and the Effort Inc
• Developed and implemented Sacramento's first licensed Alcohol and Drug outreach treatment program designed to serve homeless adults.

• In Collaboration with the Department of Human Assistance, developed and implemented a shelter program designed to address the root causes of homelessness by providing comprehensive employment services, housing placement services, intensive life skills training, advocacy and intensive case management services.

Women's Empowerment is comprehensive Employment program for homeless women and families.

• In Collaboration with the Department of Human Assistance, Sacramento Housing and Redevelopment Agency, Sacramento Area Emergency Housing, PRIDE Industry, EDD, SETA, ROP wrote the grant, developed and implemented Sacramento's first military base conversion, employment readiness, transitional housing program for homeless singles, families and children.

• In Collaboration with Sacramento Housing and Redevelopment Agency developed and implemented Sacramento's first Permanent Supportive Housing Program targeting homeless single adults.

• In collaboration with the Sacramento Housing and Redevelopment Agency, El Hogar mental health clinic, and the Sacramento Downtown Partnership, developed and implemented the first mental health outreach team

• Responsible for the full implementation of the Federal HUD mandate to develop a Coordinated Entry System to include all units of temporary and permanent housing for individuals and families experiencing homelessness, as well as any available prevention resources
• This initiative moves a fragmented homeless service delivery system to a coordinated system for accessing Homeless Prevention, Emergency Shelters, Rapid Rehousing, Transitional Housing and Permanent Supportive Housing
• Responsible for the implementation of a low barrier Interim Housing program, Common Cents, and the Street Outreach Navigator Project, to connect people experiencing homelessness, throughout the city and county, with assessment, appropriate resources and housing
• Developed, executed and managed the Coordinated Exit Project throughout the homeless Continuum of Care, including: introduction and standardization of the “Ready to Rent” curriculum, Landlord Liaison and Mediation services and Workforce Housing with an overlay of intensive Employment Services.
