I am a strong leader. I am a hard worker. I am excellent in Customer Service. I am a personable person. I will recheck my work to make sure I've done everything to the best of my abilities. My objective right now is to work at a place where all of my skills are put to good use.
For Mr. Box I did a little bit of everything. I was so blessed to be his assistant. I would schedule anything from his meetings. I helped him plan his family vacation. I filed for him. I wrote invoices. I took his calls before sending it to him because I can get a little information so I can tell him about the caller so he can just think about 1 thing at a time. I helped with new business adventures. I worked very hard at that job, but I loved every minute of it.
At the church I had my hands on everything. I learned so much just being a secretary there. I got to help with the Sunday & Wednesday’s services by creating the power points for all of them. I helped get the sanctuary in order for funerals, holidays and any other activity. I also helped rent out our fellowship hall. They would come in, schedule the day and time that they wanted, and then paid for it. I did end of the year letters to our donors telling the total on the amount they donated. I would always take the bills that needed to be paid to the right businesses. I also ran the food bank on Thursday mornings. About 50-60 people I had to check and make sure it was time for them to get what they needed. I was a secretary, but I also did so many other things. This job was definitely one that opened my mind and heart to a lot.
I removed the staples for both of the ends of a weather stripping for doors on Hyundai cars. I would be at work by 4:30 am every day. If I completed pulling all of my staples, which was 720 a day, I got to go to different operations with the people who are trained on those machines.
