Elizabeth Winslow

Served in a teacher leadership position as the MTSS Coach at both Cedar Creek Middle School and Cedar Creek Intermediate School.

Key Contributions and Responsibilities:

• Train teachers on classroom management strategies, PBIS, social emotional learning, and model effective classroom management.
• Serve as a member of the threat assessment team.
• Serve as a member of the leadership team.
• Served as a member of the campus improvement planning committee.
• Provided coaching and support to teachers in effective classroom management strategies and to improve learning environments.

PBIS

• Chair and run monthly meetings of the MTSS team. Responsible for responding to school wide data such as discipline, attendance, student and staff surveys, and acknowledgement tool collection data to make improvements on the campus.
• Train, distribute materials, and monitor implementation of school-wide acknowledgement system.
• Plan and implement school-wide celebrations.

RtI

• Respond to requests for services by scheduling classroom walks, meetings, and monitoring implementation of accommodations for students served through SPED and 504.
• Monitor the fidelity of implementation for interventions of students on the tier 2 and tier 3 behavior RtI caseload.
• Track and monitor data to make informed decisions about what supports the students need. Hold progress monitoring meetings for students on the behavior RTI caseload.
• Provided social skills to behavior RTI students where students learned coping strategies practiced safe, respectful, and responsible behavior.

SEL

• Provide lessons to teachers and monitor fidelity of implementation.
• Use to data to respond to student concerns and provide extra SEL support to all students.

Full-time choir teacher and piano instructor. Additional sections of reading lab, math lab, study skills, music appreciation, and girl's athletics taught at different times throughout my time at CCMS. Additionally served as Lead Mentor, Head Volleyball Coach, Head Cheer Coach, PTA Teacher Liaison, Electives Department Chair, Assistant testing coordinator, and Principal Intern.

• Prepare choral music students for various competitions including Region Choir, UIL Concert and Sight Reading Evaluation, Schlitterbahn Soundwaves Competition, Solo & Ensemble, and various school-wide assemblies.

Full-time choir/ piano teacher and Junior Varsity volleyball coach. Duties included teaching all choir classes, teaching several sections of and coordinating piano classes, and coaching the JV volleyball team and being in the volleyball athletic period.

Invited to accept a full-time position after student teaching. Duties included teaching or co-teaching all choir classes, and coaching 8th grade volleyball my final two years at the campus. Grew the program to over 200 students to require an assistant director in my third year.
