I drive a bus in the morning to go pick up individuals(adults with disabilities), and then I take them to a dayhab were I work in. We have morning meeting, do a 30 minute exercise, and we go do crafts, or outings. Every month I do a calender stating what activities I will be doing with the individuals. We sometimes go on a walk, do a craft, have a science experiment. It all varies. Then we load up and go home at the end of the day. I also work in the homes of the individuals. I go into there homes, do there laundry, make them meals throughout the day, and someti.es we even go out to eat or the movies. I would help shower the individuals, as well as get them ready for the day/bed.
Around 3pm I would go in to taco bell to start helping customers. I worked in the drive thru and ran the cash machine. I took customers orders as well as cashed them out. I made sure the orders were correct and precise. At times things get hard due to the amount of customers. I know how to manage a rush, ad well as stress.
I also would go into the freezer or the fridge and count product to make sure we had enough for the week before truck got there.
Handling upset customers was always tricky, but once you got them to calm down and be able to talk it was easier to make them happy again and understanding what had gone wrong.
I would wake up at 2am to go in to start preparing the donuts and pastries. I also did the following,
I currently have my CPR license as well as my med pass license.
