• Mixed animal practice: 80% dogs and cats, 15% horses, and 5% small ruminants and exotics.

• In addition to normal business hours, I was also an on-call/emergency veterinarian, carrying the on-call phone 60% of nights and weekends. During that time, I managed both haul-in and ambulatory emergencies.

I worked full-time as a veterinary technician at this busy three-veterinarian practice. I was frequently the on-call nurse, responsible for answering emergency calls, and triaging.

I cared for over 80 horses throughout foaling and breeding season. I was in charge of all aspects herd health and farm management. I was responsible for foaling out over 40 mares in addition to weaning and halter breaking foals and yearlings.

I worked as an assistant groomer intermittently. I was responsible for bathing, trimming nails, expressing anal glands, cleaning ears and drying dogs and cats. Over the years I progressed to clipping and learning breed cuts.

Maintained a herd of twenty bucking horses. Assisted with veterinary procedures, gathering and handling horses when necessary.

Worked as a groom, exercise rider, and stall cleaner at this cutting horse training facility.

I worked full-time at this mixed animal practice as the main "farm call" (large animal outcall) technician and as a small animal technician.

I worked full time as a technician at this fast paced, high volume veterinary clinic.
