Elizabeth (Edie) VanderLeek

Since June of 2020, I've worked as a cheesemonger at The Cheese Lady, gaining specialized knowledge in cheeses and providing top-notch customer service. I'm a dedicated team player with strong relationship-building skills. In the fall of 2023, I interned with Representative Greta Neubauer, doing policy research, constituent correspondence, and office tasks. In the spring of 2024, I interned with Member of Parliament Siobhain McDonagh in London, England focusing on campaign activities like grassroots outreach and voter engagement ahead of an upcoming election.

- A member of the national service fraternity Alpha Phi Omega since 2021. The requirements for each semester are 18 service hours, 5 hours of leadership, and 3 hours of fellowship. The volunteer work includes but is not limited to, working at food pantries, clearing invasive species from the nature preserve, and participating in prison re-entry simulations. 

- Poll Worker for Wisconsin Elections Commission since April 2022: Issued ballots to registered voters, monitored the voting equipment, and helped hundreds of university students to vote.
