These events are ones that I developed the concept for, managed all PR & Marketing efforts, selected the venue, secured vendors, created all branding for and then some.

  • Friendsgiving Guiness world record attempt for largest group of people breaking bread. Closed down streets to set up a mile long dinner table for 1,000 people in November complete with traditional Thanksgiving dinner catered, big screen tv’s for “the game”, a stage for live entertainment. The decor was on point with center pieces, pumpkins and fall foliage. Brought in partners to help pull it off.
  • Biggest Baby Shower Expo event with close to 100 exhibitors created from scratch bringing together resources, retailers, goods & services for new or expecting parents. Sold exhibitor space, brought sponsors on board, booked the venue, organized the decor, organized contests such as the Cutest Baby Contest and a fashion show presented by Babies R Us. Gave away free formula courtesy of Infamil. It was a 4 hour event that drew in more than 3k moms.
  • Career & Trades Expo Career fair with educational breakout sessions aimed at helping people advance their professions. Brought schools and trade organizations together as well as employers looking for talent. Breakout sessions focused on things such as resume writing, dressing to impress presented by Younkers, mastering the interview, networking for success. Started event from scratch, sold vendors and sponsors into it.
  • Ride for the Cure Motorcycle ride benefiting breast cancer research. Over 1,000 bikers on 1st annual event. Organized ride covering 20 miles and giving bikers an opportunity to drive their bikes on a NASCAR track. Started event from scratch. Developed branding. Worked to get permits, police escorts, close roads, insurance, secured sponsors and partners, marketed to get riders, created partnerships to make the event a success. Presented by Harley-Davidson.
  • The Pink Affair Gala Gala event raising funds for breast cancer research. Vegas themed complete with table games, showgirls and nationally recognized comedians with table service dinner and a silent + live auction. Event from scratch, secured venue, catering, sponsors and partners, auction items, sold tickets, secured talent, came up with branding.
  • We Will Brunch You Brunch festival bringing together several eateries to showcase their skills.
