At BAE Systems Norfolk Ship Repair, I acquired several certifications from First Responder for the shipyard, Fire Watch on ships and dry docks to fork lift operator, heavy equipment operator and fueler.

Started as a Flagger (Traffic Controller) with Hobby's Five Oaks Storm Recovery out of Kentucky. This was contracted work for companies like Phillips & Jordan, Inc. and FEMA, removing debris from natural disasters. The first 3 months I learned to operate forklifts, dump trucks and self-loaders. Hard work and great work ethics, promoted my partner & I to Foremen of a small crew.

Managed The Wild Goose Cafe/ Simmons' Tavern, and occasionally, The Mattamuskeet Inn. I had a cleaning service, Cloud Nine Cleaning, for local homes, lodges, offices, and stores for when business was slow.
