Provide care coordination in a remote Native village in Southeast Alaska. Assisted Providers in identifying and ordering preventative care and diagnosis based routine care. Assisted in prescription refills. Assisted pt's with coordinating referrals and f/u care.

Provided both primary care support and emergency medicine in a rural Alaskan village. Duties ranged from stabilize and transport in the ER setting, emergent OB, primary care and case management, community education and preventive care, and the running and managing of the in-pt lab.

Assisted Primary Care Providers in the management of their inboxes and pt flow. This included summarizing incoming documents from specialist, answering pt messages, refilling prescriptions, ordering routine labs and other preventive care as well as doing phone triage.

Worked with Dr. Melvin Strange's private practice prior to him joining the Harbor Medical Group. Roomed pt's, answered phone messages, refilled prescriptions, coordinated referrals and f/u care and assisted with minor procedures. Also ordered supplies, medications, maintained cleanliness and organization of all medical areas of the office including sterilization procedures.

Administered emergency care in a Level IV trauma center, Level II Cardiac Center and Acute Stroke-Ready Hospital. Specialized in managing a busy triage and caring for cardiac and trauma pts.
