Summary
Thank you for the opportunity to present myself for a position as a computer programmer. In March of 2016, I completed an eight-month immersive course at Lakewood Institute of Technology where I gained an in depth and hands on experience in the field of Computer Science and Software Development. Throughout the course we spent many hours designing, building and refactoring many real world applications. As the course was hands on, I was ready to hit the ground running for my first job at F and E Trading.
At F & E, I am currently providing development, maintenance and support for the F and E management system. The various applications within the system manage, track and report the progress of their e-commerce business. The system was developed in the .Net framework, using ASP.Net webforms, winforms, web services and console apps, and is written in C# and VB.net.
Through my experience in maintaining and debugging multiple projects, I have developed a strong understanding of the web development environment, and have become skilled in web and database integration. I am a hard worker and have been able to work well in a fast-paced environment, as well as responding to end users in a timely fashion.
Through my experience of obtaining a Masters in Talmudic Law at Beth Medrash Govoha, I developed strong analytical and problem solving skills. My time spent in Beth Medrash Govoha also afforded me the opportunity to work closely with other peers in a team-based environment. I was further able to implement these skills as I taught and mentored post high school students. I am eager to further my experience in software development and computer programming in a computer programmer capacity. I look forward to hearing from you soon.
