Ella Geist

I'm a high school sophomore with much experience in communications and people. I write for my school's newspaper (TheRiderOnline.com) where I touch on important events going on in the community and my school. To maintain a position on the newspaper staff I must frequently communicate with my advisors, editors, and fellow writers. We work as a team and often collaborate and spend a lot of time together. I'm also a member of Key Club at my school which opens me up to community service opportunities and lets me experience camaraderie. Lastly, I assist special needs students every other day in my partners in art class. I work with special needs students to create artwork and have a good time. From this class, I've learned patience, communication, and how to build trustworthy relationships.
