Ella Ledger

I am an aspiring college student who plans to study psychology and business. My goal is to open my own animal-assisted therapy practice someday. I am an equestrian athlete passionate about horses and proudly associated with The Kindness Movement (creating a positive environment for equestrians of all levels in and out of the show ring). I also have experience in retail stores and food services, where I aim to create compelling customer experiences. I have many years of babysitting expertise, having watched children of all ages, and I enjoy helping future generations develop and build sound behavioral skills.

• The Friendship Foundation is a non-profit organization that supports individuals with special needs and disabilities that I began volunteering during my junior year. The Friendship Foundation deepened my understanding of the impact we can have on one another's lives and taught me how meaningful it is to ensure that everyone feels welcomed and valued. I am grateful that I was chosen to be on the Teen Advisory Board (TAB) for the upcoming pier to pier walk, the biggest fundraiser of the year. This opportunity has allowed me to strengthen my leadership skills and collaborate with my peers to promote a cause I am so passionate about. I have many ideas and I am looking forward to putting them into practice!
