As a facilities assistant, my role is to ensure that sporting events run smoothly by overseeing spectators, maintaining the fields, and creating a positive experience for both athletes and attendees. I help manage crowd control, ensuring that fans remain respectful and follow venue policies while supporting their teams. Additionally, I check that the fields and equipment are in top condition before and during games, addressing any issues that may arise to keep the environment safe and professional. My goal is to contribute to an enjoyable and well-organized event where athletes can perform at their best and spectators can fully engage in the experience.

I provided swimming instruction to students of all ages and skill levels, creating a fun and motivating learning environment to help them reach their goals. I adapted my teaching methods to fit each student’s needs, ensuring they felt comfortable and confident in the water. I also demonstrated proper swimming techniques to individuals, small groups, and large classes while keeping parents and guardians informed about their child’s progress and any challenges they faced.

I enforced pool rules to keep swimmers and patrons safe while staying alert and watching for any signs of distress or danger. I also handled pool opening and closing duties, making sure everything was set up properly. Communication was a big part of my job, whether it was working with other employees or helping patrons. Overall, I made sure the pool was a safe and welcoming place for everyone.

I created and implemented new drills to help improve team performance while adapting my coaching methods to fit each player’s individual needs and preferences. I closely observed players during both practice and competition to identify areas for improvement, making adjustments to help them grow and succeed.

I provided excellent customer service in a fast-paced environment, making sure every customer had a positive experience. I handled daily cleaning tasks like mopping floors, washing dishes, and sanitizing equipment to keep the space clean and organized. I also operated the cash register, processed transactions quickly and accurately, and regularly restocked shelves with fresh merchandise. On top of that, I helped train new employees, teaching them store policies and job processes to ensure they were set up for success.
