I was selected for Greek Woman of the Month my Freshman Year at the University of Arkansas. This was a unique achievement that never crossed my mind and opened my eyes to the Panhellenic Greek Council. I was also selected to represent my school as their Miss. Cedar Creek and Homecoming Queen, both during my senior year. These two accomplishments grew my love for a school I have attended my whole life and provided me with a sense of gratitude towards the people around me. These things taught me how to shine my light on everyone!
Traveling overseas has forced me to step out of my comfort zone and foster new relationships in different scenarios. I went on a mission trip to the Dominican Republic, and I will spend a month in Thailand; we will create relationships with college students and learn about Thailand culture. During both of these, I am stepping in faith that relationships and new friends will be fostered! I find comfort in being uncomfortable!
