This primary purpose of this position is to provide students with a safe, fun, and enriching out of school time experience. Essential Functions
• Maintain a safe, healthy, clean and inviting environment for children
• Assist students in participating in fire, tornado, and other safety drills as required
• Develop an environment and daily schedule that allows children to assume responsibility for successful peer interactions and choices while meeting the interests and developmental needs of each child
• Participate in monthly professional development meetings
• Submit files, records, documentation, and reports in accordance with program requirements
• Maintain open communication with the Child Care Coordinators. Position requires occasional lifting and occasional physical intervention with students.
