My job at Athleta is helping customers find athletic wear that suits them. My other duties are processing sales, putting clothes away, and shipping out items from our store.
I created lesson plans for each week. These lesson plans focused on zoo-phonics, basic mathematics, and sensory play. I also made sure to create a supportive environment that encouraged the students to explore and learn independently! I also taught movement/gym when it was needed.
I provided administrative support to the executive team including scheduling meetings, managing calendars, organizing and maintaining reports weekly in excel and similar programs. I processed invoices for payment using accounting software applications. I also would work up at the front desk with customers, make appointments, take calls, and address customer concerns.
My duties as a head teacher were to watch over my group of eleven teachers. I taught the girls the ILP curriculum (how to teach English to foreign speakers, create lesson plans, manage a classroom, etc.) I walked or biked over to each school to supervise over classrooms and conduct regular evaluations to track teacher and student progress. I also was responsible to make sure each of the volunteers needs were met.
At Albion, I assisted customers in finding apparel based on their needs. I focused on building relationships with customers and making sure they had a great in-store experience! Some other duties of mine were to process sales, put clothes away, and fulfill shipments.
My duties as an English Teacher were to prepare engaging English lessons to students 3-12 years old. I created stimulating activities in four categories (drama, gym, art, and kitchen). I worked with other volunteers and my head teachers to create a positive learning environment.
Answered customer inquires and provided accurate information regarding to products and services. I spent time working in customer service but also up at the front desk as a receptionist. I would schedule appointments, process invoices, and help assist during freeze dryer pickups. I also provided excellent customer service to resolve customer complaints in a timely manner.
