  • Manage day-to-day operations of Medical, Dental, and Behavioral Health.
  • Prepare all new patient accounts, complete new patient intake sheets, including personal injury, collecting all information from attorneys, insurance companies, patients, or their representatives in order to determine and record all demographic and financial information necessary to accurately and effectively process the account.
  • Schedule new patient evaluations, updating patient information, insurance verification, private insurance HMO/PPO, workers' compensation, Medicare, and request workers' compensation authorizations as needed.
  • Balance petty cash daily, responsible for all collections and settling personal injury cases with law offices, patients, and insurance companies.
  • Manage and complete all inventory, order clinical supplies for Administration, Dental, and Medical.
  • I also assist in scheduling patient transports and, on occasion, drive the transport.
  • In the Medical Department, I fill in as the Backup Medical Assistant. I complete patient triage, clean & disinfect rooms, run diagnostic tests, and assist the Provider in rooms as needed.
  • Behavioral Health Department, 'Family Services'. I set up the patients with the VeSee computer system, so the patient is able to meet with the provider.
  • As Patient Navigator, I receive specialty medical referrals from the provider for each patient. I work with patients' insurance to locate, receive approval, and assist in getting patients registered with a specialist.
