Currently, I am a full time student at St. Lawrence University pursuing a biomedical science degree in which I am being challenged each day through my academic endeavors to prepare me for future medical experience. Throughout my time at St. Lawrence University, it has been a goal of mine to try new experiences outside of my comfort zone to see what fields pose of interest to me. Throughout each of these experiences, I carry myself with poise and positivity to allow myself to gain the maximum amount of benefit from these specific situations. As I navigate through my educational pursuits, enrolling courses that both challenge my academic abilities, as well as force me to gain knowledge from an alternative perspective is what allows for me to place education as one of my top priorities. Also, St. Lawrence has provided me with the opportunities to expand the extra-curricular activities I am involved in on and off campus. These experiences have significantly contributed to my personal growth and professional development, enhancing my leadership and academic skills. The rigor enthralled within the coursework offered at St. Lawrence University has provided a fundamental foundation for the resilience and adaptability I apply to both my academic work and personal life to overcome obstacles I may encounter. While my motivation withheld in myself is what drives me to always produce my best possible work, it is the discipline that consistently enables me to achieve the goals I set for myself. It is my commitment to personal improvement that drives my passion for medicine and other opportunities that lie ahead. I am eager to expand my knowledge of how my personal strengths and weaknesses can be improved to allow for me to become the most successful I can be within my future profession.
