I am eighteen years old, currently attending college at PCC and working towards a medical degree. For about three years now I have been building my experience through my various customer-facing jobs. Most recently, I worked at A Flair helping Michelle Reser (owner) close her business. Prior to A Flair, I was employed at Hearthstone Senior Living where I was trained in memory and assisted care (Dementia/Alzheimers and physical aid). Additionally, I am trained as a hostess, expo, and busser due to my time at to La Provence. I feel that these experiences have not only aided in my resilience within a customer-facing environment, but have also allowed me to perfect my abilities making me a positive asset to any workplace.
I was hired as a sales associate + cashier where I had glowing reviews for my inviting, friendly, and calm demeanor even during busy, high-stress situations. I had the opportunity to help create beautiful displays and with my knack for organization I was able to maintain them while also providing a pleasant shopping experience and lasting connections with frequent costumers.
I was hired as a server for both independent and assisted care. Not only did I gain an unwavering patience and ability to multitask from this demanding position, but It was one of the most fulfilling jobs I have had, and a fundamental step to realizing what I'd want to pursue as a future career. Even though it was a dining service job, I walked away knowing I wanted to go into the medical field through my experiences helping and caring for the wonderful people at Hearthstone.
I was originally hired as a busser, but quickly became a hostess due to the conversations I had with costumers. My employer appreciated my ability for natural and lively conversation and utilized it. This position allowed me to perfect my costumer-facing and organizational skills and I was able to consistently keep a busy restaurant working smoothly.
