I bring over a decade of front-of-house restaurant experience, paired with strong communication and organizational skills. Below, I’ve highlighted my recent job at Boostlingo, three standout restaurant experiences, and the unique skills and strengths I developed at each establishment beyond the standard server duties.
At Boostlingo, I served as an Account Manager supporting B2B clients in the language access and tech space. I managed ongoing client relationships, facilitated onboarding and renewals, and worked cross-functionally to ensure customer success. This role strengthened my communication, project coordination, and problem-solving skills in a fast-paced ever-changing SaaS environment.
At Launderette, known for its seasonal and globally inspired menu, I stayed up to date with frequent menu changes, learned ingredients and allergens for each dish, and provided wine pairing recommendations. The booked full, high-standard environment sharpened my service skills, kitchen knowledge, and overall attention to detail.
At Nightcap, a local woman-owned restaurant and bar, I learned the true extent of my ability to learn fast and move faster. As Lead Server, I managed nightly tip pooling, developed standardized opening and closing procedures, and played a key role in the rollout of the Toast POS system. Nightcap ran with a small team; being a server meant you were also a food runner, host, occasional bartender, and even plant caretaker. I loved the versatility of supporting the business from many roles.
All American was a family-owned, upscale restaurant with one of the largest bourbon menus in the Phoenix Valley. The strong sense of community was my favorite part of the job, with loyal regulars and returning families creating a welcoming, high-energy environment. I developed lasting relationships with both coworkers and guests, deepened my liquor and wine knowledge, and expanded my sports intel ten fold. This job gave me greater confidence in my ability to read the room and calmly de-escalate tense situations, especially when a guest realized their team wasn't going to win and the bartender would no longer be serving them.
