As a Solar Sales Manager at Sunrun, my job responsibilities include generating leads within my territory by knocking on homeowner's doors. I would then pitch a solar design to the homeowner, create a Sunrun account for the new client, and schedule an appointment to go over the design.
In the solar design meeting, I would educate the client on where the power is generated from in the state of Vermont, why the utility rates are increasing, how a solar system works, and why going solar would save the client money on their utility bills. Lastly, I would schedule a time for our site surveyor to come to the property and do an inspection to qualify the home.
Once the results of the home inspection are made available, I will notify the client and meet with them to go over the finalized proposal. The client would then sign the proposal agreement and the project would be submitted for interconnection. Once interconnection has been approved by the utility company the solar installation would be scheduled.
