My entire professional career has been based off longevity.
I recently retired from the military after serving 22 years as a maintenance supervisor / mechanic / recovery specialist. I enlisted in 2002 and became a NCO in 2008 where I began my leadership journey within the military. I have taken many leadership courses to develop better leadership skills as well as further the knowlege of my job. In these courses i have gained knowledge to make me a better leader and better mechanic.
My final military job summaries as : Served as the Special Operations (SPO) Maintenance NCOIC for 141st Brigade Support Battalion in 141 Headquarters and Headquarters Company, I was Responsible for the processing of all Non Mission Capable reports into 026, reviewing 026 reports for the battalion, researching the status of all 02 parts on order and reporting to status's to higher, While attending maintenance meetings I had to capture information from each of the line companys the status of there equipment and parts on order. I also had to keep my own units equipment inspected and running.
Since 2006 ive worked at Target Distribution center as a warehouse worker in the inbound department. During my time working here i was trained on mulitple pieces of equipment. I am responsible for unloading freight by hand or forklift and scanning the loads of items into the warehouse. Its my responsibilty to ensure the products are labeled correctly, accounted for and are going to the correct area of the warehouse upon receipt.
