I worked part-time and full-time as a Grocery Clerk at a grocery store. During my time there I did just about everything you could think of. From stocking shelves and checking people out at the cashier to most complex jobs such as fixing the freezers and training multiple other employees there. I am skilled in keeping things clean and orderly as well as leading a team to get a certain objective completed. I also am exceptional at following the orders of my boss and am always looking for work to do wherever I can find it.
For my second job I worked as a Theater Technician at Barton Community College. My job there was essentially to make props, build sets, and keep the stage area and shop clean. I am skilled with multiple tools and how to use them in relation to building constructs with them. I was usually the guy to lift the heavy pieces of wood or metal and carry it to wherever my boss needed it. I was also a part of training a couple of new students on how to use the equipment around the shop in a safe and productive way.
I was apart of several different sports and activities during high school and college including: Choir, Football, Track, Wrestling, Debate, and Forensics. I was also honored to be selected to be a part of the National Honor Society. I did all this while still balancing everything with a job as well which speaks to my time management skills. I went to the state tournament in both Debate in Forensics multiples times over my four years in Hoisington. I also have several medals from wresting tournaments as well. In college, I quickly became the go-to guy for my boss whenever he needed something done. I would be the first one to ask when I got into the theater what I could get started on.
