Greetings, I am a graduate of Saint Louis Park Senior Highschool. I am striving to pursue a career as an electrician. My goal is to gather as much experience and knowledge as I can from all who can teach me. I have developed a variety of skills while working for L.S.W. and for the Minneapolis Parks and Rec. I have practiced problem solving; an example is typically when there is conflict between two parties, I would use methods to isolate the problem, understand the situation, and develop a solution. Throughout my experience working for Minneapolis Parks and Rec, I had the opportunity to develop my 'soft skills,' as I usually worked with people in the community and occasionally spoke with administrative positions with ideas on improving certain mechanisms and systems used by the park. I.e., food service, rules and regulations, organization of attendance forms, etc. While at L.S.W., I had the pleasure of learning many 'hard skills,' ranging from financial and adulting skills to character-building skills. These skills showed me what it means to be a better employee. These skills taught me how to become more successful, as my coach taught me how to make the best of an opportunity and success. As my coach would always say, "Opportunity is when luck meets preparation. I am looking for an opportunity to grow and better myself as an employee and as a person.
